About Me

Junior Game Designer

Driven by creativity, curiosity, and a deep passion for video games.

My journey into game design began with a passion for games that not only entertain but also inspire and challenge players. As a Junior Game Designer, I specialize in developing engaging game mechanics, designing levels that encourage exploration and strategy, and balancing gameplay to ensure a rewarding experience for all players.

I enjoy working through every stage of the design process — from brainstorming and prototyping to testing and refining. My approach blends creativity with technical understanding, allowing me to contribute effectively in collaborative, cross-disciplinary environments. I’m comfortable using Unreal Engine 5 and basic blueprint scripting to bring concepts to life, and I’m constantly learning and evolving with each project.

What excites me most about game development is the ability to craft experiences that connect with players on an emotional level — whether it’s the satisfaction of solving a puzzle, the thrill of a fast-paced battle, or the quiet awe of exploring a rich game world.

If you're looking for a designer who brings enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a strong commitment to learning and growth, I’d love to be part of your journey. Let’s create something amazing together!

Additional Accolades

Between 2011 and 2013, I participated in Video Symphony’s comprehensive 18-month audio training program in Burbank, CA.

During my time at Video Symphony Audio Engineering School, I gained a solid foundation in the technical and creative aspects of sound production. I learned how to record, edit, mix, and master audio for a variety of applications, including music, film, games, and live sound. My training included hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and software such as Pro Tools.

I developed a deep understanding of acoustics, signal flow, microphone techniques, and audio processing tools like EQ, compression, and reverb. I also studied sound design, post-production workflows, and how to collaborate effectively with musicians, directors, and other creatives. Most importantly, I learned how to shape audio in a way that enhances storytelling and emotional impact.

This experience not only sharpened my technical skills but also strengthened my ear for detail and my ability to adapt audio to different creative contexts.

Education

To earn my Associate of Science (AS) degree in Fire Science, I completed a comprehensive two year program at El Camino College that combined classroom instruction with hands-on training, preparing me for a career in fire service and emergency response. The curriculum focused on both the theoretical foundations and practical skills necessary for fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency operations, and leadership in the fire service.

Throughout the program, I completed extensive coursework in key areas such as:

  • Fire Behavior and Combustion – Studied the chemistry and physics of fire, including fire development stages, heat transfer, and the behavior of different materials under combustion.

  • Fire Prevention and Inspection – Learned building codes, fire safety systems, and how to conduct fire inspections to identify and mitigate hazards in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

  • Fire Protection Systems – Gained knowledge of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, standpipes, and other suppression technologies, including their design, function, and maintenance.

  • Building Construction for Fire Protection – Examined different types of construction and how they affect fire behavior, firefighter safety, and building collapse risk.

  • Firefighting Tactics and Strategy – Explored the organization of fireground operations, including risk assessment, resource allocation, and incident command system (ICS) procedures.

  • Emergency Medical Response (EMR/EMT basics) – Received basic training in emergency medical services, patient care, and triage as part of integrated emergency response education.

(In addition, I’m currently certified as an EMT in the state of California)
